Why are you letting 18 year olds on the site? Legally an 18 year old is an adult.
Yoursphere is intended to be a site for youth through high school. A lot of seniors are 18. It'd be a bummer to boot a high school senior who's 18 off the site.
If your child is under 13, they won't be allowed to friend anyone who is more than three years older than they are (except for siblings, of course). Once they're 13 they can friend anyone they want.
